Riley you have been gone for one year today....it is so hard to believe it has already been that long. It feels like yesterday. The pain has lessened but the ache of your not being here has not. Your absence is felt everyday. Although we have since taken another into our family, it is not the same. Benny does remind us of you in alot of ways, but he will never be you. You were special, you overcame death only to be taken from us so tragically. Unfortunately life goes on wether you want it to or not. It has gotten easier and had we not gotten Benny I am not sure where our hearts would be today. Daddy and I still love and miss you deeply and we can't wait to see you again. In the meantime, give Jesus lots of hugs and kisses for us and be the good boy you always are. We love you baby and we will see you soon. Love Mommy and Daddy. :0)
