Hello all. I had promised a co-worker that when the "time" came that I would help her with the delivery of her beloved dog, Monte to the vet for the crossing to the Rainbow Bridge. I never realized how hard that would be. Poor old fellow couldn't stand, if he was hurtin, he didn't complain. They never really do, now do they? Now Monte was an old boy, he had a great life and I know it. What was hard for me was to try to avoid "reflection" that my own beloved dog, Dooley would soon require the same treatment. Who would be there for me? I've often thought, in some silly way, that "dogs are people too." They certainly CAN read us better than we humans ourselves, right? Well, I'm off to love my dog and let him sleep on the bed tonight, where he wants to be. Godspeed Monte, see you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Daniel & Dooley...
